Unrepentant

As you can see in the previous post, several people (assuming it's not just one person) are trying to ruin my appetite for blogging by posting unpleasant comments...not about my entries, but rather, about me.

I first thought of opening a new Blogger account and texting/mailing the password to my friendly readers who are non-Blogger users. But that's playing their game. I've given in and given them what they want: me changing my blogstyle because of them. Why should I?

On the other hand, thanks to those who've been defending me. I really appreciate it; I'm only human after all.

But the key is attention. So to my feistier readers, I'm afraid I'll have to spoil your appetite for taking those idiots on. From now on, posts that are completely anonymous will simply be deleted. It's bear-baiting, really; they want a response, and I was stupid enough to give it to them. You won't find their dumb comments anymore, as I will be deleting them. The originals will be preserved, though, for your amusement.

But I do love hearing from my friends, and from those who really enjoy reading the blog. Keep posting your reactions. Just don't forget to include your name and e-mail (if I don't know you) so that I won't delete your comments.

Anyway, cute photos follow for your amusement

Here's hoping that "Samantha Starbucks," "Anne," and "Anonymous" get all the bad luck and misery meant for you guys, and may all their good luck and happiness be redirected to you for the rest of their lives. Assuming they're not just one person, that is. ;P

Flipmermaid, nangiingit ka na! Huhuhu. I miss Boracay, manily because when I was there, I was unable to resist the urge to sleep. The place is just so...wow. >^..^<

Heh. Was reading the previous posts and... well, here's my unsolicited advice: don't back down.

One thing I noticed about the best of the bloggers out there is that they never back down in the face of trolls.

For example, editor Teresa Nielsen-Hayden uses a technique called the disemvoweler to ruin the day of those foolish enough to comment stupidly.

On the other hand, writer John Scalzi doesn't relent going hand-to-hand to the point of commenting in the blogs of those he's having a spat. His motto: "Taunting the untauntable."

Life is too short to give those idiots the pleasure of your forbearance.

(I am banzai cat! Hear me roar!)
